Imperial Gu-97 Fighter

Ship-launched fighters are the cutting edge of combat technology in the bubble, and DSE operates a small fleet of fighters to suppliment its heavier security craft. The Imperial Gu-97 is renowned for its unbeatable speed and maneuverability, making it equally valuable in combat and in exploration.

Overlooked for the longest time when I was choosing my fighter bay loadouts due entirely to its awkward looks, this little ship is shockingly fun to fly! More than any of the other fighters, this ship is fast. Often this fighter is mounted in one of the two slots of my Krait Mk II's fighter bay, used when I want guns on a target now.
