As part of its dedicated mission to maintain the cutting edge in interstellar security on behalf of our clients, DSE proudly operates Zorgon Peterson's latest dedicated combat design. Ideal for bouty hunting and other pursuit jobs, the Mamba is unrivalled for speed and armament.

When the funds were finally there to buy one of the endgame combat ships, the Mamba had just been released and so it would be a choice between that and the Fer-De-Lance. The Mamba won out due to its better looks, in the end, though the better hardpoint power helped too. Its maneuverability out-of-box is horrible, but some basic Engineering brings it right into line with the other dedicated fighters in the game. Its firepower is unassailable; that "Huge" hardpoint makes this ship a terror.

I was initially disappointed with its maneuverability and nearly sold it back. I'm glad I stuck with it because in its current state it's tons of fun to fly.

Named after a legendary Portuguese Fudo singer.
